Into the crime - still life photoshoot

For my still life project, the concept was crime and murder. I took inspiration from Film Noir and its shadowy light, to give the picture a luxurious and bold texture. I used accessories from many different brands, such as Topshop, Zara, Banana Republic, Christian Louboutin (thanks you Rafa!!) and others, together with vintage props, old books and photographs, and a television, that I bought on ebay from 0.99 pounds (!!!!!!), and I broke it myself (in the middle of the street, after several attemps). A special thank you for Ling Zhu, that assisted me in this photoshoot, and to Rafaella Zannettou and Jacquelene Chan who let me borrow their things!
I am very proud of this, hope you like it!

Yes! Menswear! And no! No hot guys. Ok, maybe there is a significant amount of hot guys, but the exercise here is to look for the styling, and again, for some inspiration for my next shoot. We have to come up with 5 ideas for a menswear shoot, and suiting or naked bodies doesn't count. So, looking at Fashionisto, I found this beautiful editorial from MISTER MUSE, beautiful pictures by Serge Leblon. This in particularly is not about the styling but about the mood and images that have such a nice feeling and touch to it. Hope you like it as much as I did.

Inspiration for my new magazine...

Natalia Vodianova by Françoise Marie Banier for Diane von Furstenberg 2008

Looking foward for the final project, but I haven't even started!!! So, the new idea is to mix fashion with art, play a little with the images in a way that you won't recognize if it's a picture or a painting. I want to give life to my magazine, a bright and free spirit, an artistic spirit. Really don't know if that's going to happen, but is just an idea...
